Memoria Ladina: Heritage, Community und Partizipation in den Dolomiten

How can cultural heritage be identified and documented in a participative way? This is the question Emanuel Valentin has dedicated this volume to. He demonstrates how complex the interaction between heritage, community and participation can be and what new and to date unused opportunities the digital age offers for participatory projects in the field of cultural heritage. The research topic is the cultural heritage of the Ladins of the Dolomites, an ethnic minority whose area of settlement was declared UNESCO World Heritage in 2009.
